You know it’s a good week when Kate Middleton has back-to-back official appearances in one day.

Earlier this morning, Kate attended a private breakfast reception at the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich to support Britain’s road to winning the oldest sailing competition, America’s Cup, which is led by four-time Olympic champion, Sir Ben Ainslie. In hopes of raising enough money to build a more advanced ship (we hear a whopping £100 million is needed), the Duchess of Cambridge was invited to help raise awareness. And knowing how big of a fan she is of sailing, we bet Kate was more than happy to support the cause. We just hope the topic of Kate beating Prince William at a friendly race during their Australian tour was brought up for a good laugh.

In tune with the day’s event, Kate posed with the America Cup (which travelled in a fancy Louis Vuitton trunk) in a never-before-seen, short-sleeved white dress that features navy blue trimming by Jaeger. (FYI if you’re planning on snatching up the nautical-themed dress for your ever-growing Kate Middleton-inspired wardrobe, chances are, you’re going to have to wait, according to the contemporary British brand’s twitter platform.) As for the rest of her outfit, Kate matched accordingly. While she carried a navy blue suede clutch by Russell & Bromley, she completed her look with suede Alexander McQueen pumps, sapphire and diamond earrings, an Aprey gold charm pendant necklace and a classic Cartier watch.

After a little stint in a new outfit, Middleton went back to recycling outfits, switching into something more evening-appropriate for The Queen’s Garden Party (it’s also Prince Philip’s 93rd birthday). Opting for a beautiful blush lace dress by Alexander McQueen, which was last seen on her at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebration back in June 2012, Kate made an old outfit look new by styling her half updo with a new Jane Corbett hat. She completed her outfit with a second Russell and Bromley clutch of the day, L.K. Bennett neutral patent leather pumps and pearl Annoushka earrings.
